Near the Verghereto, we find the Hermitage of Sant'Alberico. We went back today and made sure the bill was paid in full and a tip and our eternal thanks was given to Willie in person. I reassured him I wanted to pay in full and left him my details and my hotel etc. in the end, Willie suggested we give him half the bill and we'd be fine as we seemed to him genuine people. Willie tried various ways to take cash or part payments and other staff helped to point me to safe ATM's to try and check my balance etc.

We then faced a difficulty with our card (we are from the UK) as a company earlier in the day had taken money from us when they shouldn't have. His advice on drinks and foods was first class. Our waiter, Willie was the star of the show. The starters and entrees were fantastic, rich sauces and steak to die for. We chose this restaurant out of the eight on offer as it had a great mix of the foods we liked. Snuggled away down a side street there was so much choice. We were advised to check out this Belden Place by and we weren't dissapointed.
